Laguna Kelana, 22 April 2009.

Reached home, mandi, took my stuff, and reached Laguna abt 7pm. Apek was surprised to see me, as I turn up unannounced. Bang Patin was at his usual spot, Greenyz, Jimmy and 2 other guys I presume are demon6 and sengiran was already there. Saw Bang Patin reeling up his fish when I was putting my stuff.

Long story short, I ended up with no fish (again!). So does sengiran and demon6 when they went back at 8, and Greenyz when he packed up at 9. AC broke his zero streak when he foul-hooked a pacu by its fin. Went back abt 11pm. Learned a new trick from Bang Patin. Certainly worked, since I witnessed it's effectiveness.

Edisi Ghost Hunt 18 April 2009, Friday

Went to Ulu Yam area, Haunted Bungalow at Taman Zooview, Ulu Klang, then detour to Highland Towers (again ) and the abandoned bungalow next to Highland Towers.
Went to Ulu Yam coz supposedly there's one area is accident prone. Something about the road looks straight when it's actually a sharp corner, and vehicles drove straight against a big tree. Lives have been claimed there. The place is dark ( lack of street lights ), and we were supposed to go to several places. Firast place we went is an abandoned housing project, but decided not to proceed coz there are dogs, and flash lights turned on when we went near. ( safety reason ) Then we went to the hot springs, and again canceled coz it was developed into a resort-like place, and brightly lit. Before the place was developed, supposedly sometimes ppl can see "puteri bunian" mandi there. Naked or not, I don't know LOL. Anyway, we went to this other waterfall where it's really dark. And explored.
Proceeded to Taman Zooview. Got lost coz we dont exactly know where the bungalow is. Asked a couple of Malay kids at the roadside, and they gladly lead us to the house on their motorbikes. And they kindly declined when we asked them to join us. We asked them for the story of the house and they say, a professor/doctor killed his wife and daughter (or son, can't remember) for some experiment stuff, and committed suicided afterwards. Roshan saw a apparition (looked like a girl ) standing in front of the gate, like it was telling us not to go in. For the note, I haven't seen, felt or heard anything since I follow them. Well, we went in to the porch and grouped. We had to go down the steps at the side of the house to go to the first floor. And first floor's floor is mostly caved in, so we can't go to the ground floor. FYI, main entrance is from the top, which explains why we couldn't enter from the ground floor. Some ppl saw stuff, but I have no luck ( or am I lucky? )

Sorry for my lousy drawing. As you can see, we parked the car at the top. The thing with the roof is the porch. After deciding that we won't risk by going down the slope to the ground floor, we went to Highland Towers. Didn't went in this time, just went through the back trying to find a way to the other tower. Nothing interesting, so we stopped at the abandoned bungalow on the way back to the car. Separated some members and leave the in separate room to try and see whether there's some paranormal activities going. I was left in the bathroom, alone. Felt nothing, although all the time I was with the group ( I am the person walking last every time), I keep anticipating that pat on my shoulder so I can shout like a girl and run. XD.

And that's all for this trip. Before that, Pics!!

11/04/2009 Saturday

Slept at 7.30am and woke up at 10am. After freshening up, went out for brunch and bought some bait. Went to AC's house at about 1pm, and off we go to Fish Valley, Semenyih.

Reached about 2pm, and set up the gears. AC used 2 rods (1 bottom, 1 float ), while I used AC's rod specially for plabuk. Within the first 20 minutes, AC bottom rig caught a pacu, decent size for FV, abt 4kg. My rod was quiet. Too quiet. Quiet till the end. I ended up with no bites. Paul Wong came abt 3-ish. Setup a rod using 1 earthworm. While he was setting up his second rod, his first rod bent. A pacu. Not fair. His first 3 cast with that rod resulted in 5 hook ups, 3 landed. 2 pacu, 1 talapia. At that's the only fish until we pack up and go back at 7pm.

Some pictures of Fish Valley. Nice place really.

This time, the group went to Bukit Tunku. When we reached PWTC, our supposed guide ffked, so we had to go around Bukit Tunku by ourselves. There were 8 person in the pajero. Takut that the police might stop us anytime.

Anyway, we went around Bukit Tunku several times, but couldn't find the place mentioned. While we were driving through, we met this old security guard doing patrols, alone, on his motor. Roshan asked him about the place. While he has many stories to share, he too weren't sure where the house with the pontianak is. He told us to go to the main guardhouse to ask.

So we went to the guardhouse. The guy told us that we need permisson to go check around the houses because the area, as you all know, are where the rich and powerful lives. And they might complain if they see us lurking around. And by complain, the guard say they usually call the guardhouse, but some of the extreme ones will call the police straight. The place is also frequently patrolled by the police.

Seeing that it's not possible to hunt for the haunted house, we head to Puchong. Me and Roshan checked out the house a few days before, but decided it wasn't the Puchong haunted house as rumoured, but since we don't know where else to go, we headed there. The design of the house is really nice but I felt that the house was uncomplete. It was unpainted, there were no stairs railings. ( not stolen, there were no signs of railings installed )

Everyone decided it wasn't creepy enough. Maybe coz the moon was shining brightly and it wasn't as dark as Highland Towers. And the fact that there's someone staying there. ( probably some construction worker without a place to stay ). During the time when we were walking back to the car, Prisca were shining her torchlight at the banana trees and spotted a glowing red dot. Some others including me saw it too. I was busy shining my torchlight at it, and forgot to take pistures of it. At one point, the red dot vanishes from my angle, and I saw it again when I took a few steps to my right. Roshan tried to agitate it by flicking the torchlight on and off. According to him, the "thing" flew to a tree near us, but we couldn't see it anymore. Spent some more time shining light at the tree, but nothing to see, and we went to Asia Cafe to eat.

4 April, Saturday 1 am

Did something crazy lol. Went ghost hunting at Highland Towers with some friends.

Pictures can be viewed here. http://picasaweb.google.com/joonchingg/HighlandTowers?feat=directlink

According to Roshan ( the one with experience in paranormal stuff ), there were 4 or 5 when we went in around 1 am. I personally didn't feel or see anything. There were claims about glass dropping and footsteps in the puddle. Explored the ground floor of the nearest block before proceeding to the back of the building. Decided it was too bushy to go on ( takut ular ).

Regrouped at McD coz there are more people joining. Went in again at 3.30am. This time we managed to get up till the 6th floor. Can't go further up coz there were some debris blocking the stairs. Roshan didn't see anymore paranormal stuff this time.

During both venture, I was the last person standing in the group. While it was eerie and dark ( only 3 torchlights among us 11 persons ), in the end, nothing happened. Should I be disappointed, or grateful? LOL

1 April 2009, Wednesday

Went to Laguna after work. Didn't bring rod coz went there straight from work. Apek and Jerry were already there. Fishes weren't biting. The mosquitos were having a field day though. Lot of flesh at a certain part of the pond XD. Greenyz, Bang Patin and Newbies came later. No luck too. But, as expected of the pro, Bang Patin manage to land a fish. A not so big pacu.

A bad outing in terms of fish landed, but good in terms of spending time together, chit chating.

Conclusion: The fishes played an April Fool joke on those who fishes yesterday. LOL.

And so, the journey begins . . .

29 March 2009, Sunday.

Reached Laguna about 3.30pm. Bang Patin was already there, testing new bait. And the new bait is banana.

As for me, I used bread. Pond surface was very calm. Hardly any fish came up. No action for quite some time.

Bang Patin changed tactic. Used Doraemon with skirt. Took some time before landing a decent sized pacu.

No action again for some time. I changed place to under the roof coz it was gonna rain abt 5.30pm. Rain came, quite heavily, and continued until abt 8pm. Used some bait given by an old man and his son. They left when it started to rain heavily. Also no feedback from the fishes.
At abt 8.30pm, I gave up and pack up. Summing up, it was a bad day. No fishes, but at least get to see Bang Patin"s Doraemon with skirt in action. Hopefully the next trip will bear fruit, and grant me my first fish at Laguna.

* no pics coz no fish lol
